WASHINGTON – Mike Davis, Founder and President of Article III Project (A3P) issued the following statement after Kash Patel’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee to serve as the next FBI Director:
“American voters overwhelmingly elected President Trump to remove politics from America’s intelligence agencies and law enforcement–and refocus them on taking down vicious Venezuelan gangs and other violent criminals instead of outraged parents, pro-life grandmas, and other political enemies of today’s Democrats.
"It is clear from Kash Patel’s confirmation hearing today that President Trump selected the right man to lead and reform the FBI. Kash is bold, fearless, highly qualified, and ready to lead. It’s time for the Senate to confirm Kash and let him get to work,” said Davis.
A3P has led a grassroots campaign facilitating more than 50,000 calls, emails, and social media contacts between constituents and their senators, who resoundingly told them to vote for Kash Patel’s nomination.
The Article III Project (A3P) was founded by veteran GOP operative and attorney Mike Davis, who, after helping win the Senate confirmation battles of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, developed the reputation as a “take-no-prisoners conservative eager to challenge the left with hardball tactics,” as reported in The New York Times.
A3P defends constitutionalist judges, punches back on radical assaults on judicial independence (like court-packing) and opposes judicial and other nominees who are outside of the mainstream. Davis previously served as Chief Counsel for Nominations to Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary and led the Senate confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a record number of circuit court judges.
