WASHINGTON — Mike Davis, Founder and President of Article III Project (A3P), issued the following statement after the Senate voted to confirm Kash Patel as President Trump’s FBI Director:

“Kash Patel is exactly the kind of leader we need as America’s new FBI Director. With his impressive background in law, intelligence, and national security, he’s uniquely qualified to assume the responsibilities of this important role for President Trump. Kash has proven time and again that he’s committed to protecting our country and upholding the rule of law, along with rooting out decades-long corruption within the FBI.

“Kash will identify and hold accountable those within the FBI who put their partisan politics ahead of the rule of law and targeted their political opponents in the most anti-democratic abuse of law enforcement in our country’s history. As Democrats say, ‘no one is above the law.’

“In spite of a smear campaign from Democrat media and the uniparty in Washington, Article III Project ran an historic shock-and-awe grassroots campaign that engaged tens of thousands of America First conservatives to support Kash’s nomination. Kash’s opponents failed, and America won. Kash Patel is the right choice to restore integrity and accountability to the FBI, and he will serve this nation with dedication and strength while removing the deep rot from the Bureau,” said Davis.

Since the announcement of his nomination two months ago, the Article III Project’s Action Center mobilized more than 85,000 actions, including emails, phone calls, and social media messages, from roughly 22,000 constituents urging their home-state senators to back Patel’s confirmation.

The Article III Project (A3P) was founded by veteran GOP operative and attorney Mike Davis, who, after helping win the Senate confirmation battles of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, developed the reputation as a “take-no-prisoners conservative eager to challenge the left with hardball tactics,” as reported in The New York Times.‍‍

A3P defends constitutionalist judges, punches back on radical assaults on judicial independence (like court-packing) and opposes judicial and other nominees who are outside of the mainstream. Davis previously served as Chief Counsel for Nominations to Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary and led the Senate confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a record number of circuit court judges.
