Poll Shows Trump Ahead or Tied in 5/6 Swing States Despite Democrat Lawfare & Media Bias

Leftwing CNN & MSNBC Viewed Unfavorably

WASHINGTON – A new poll of 3,000 likely voters across six battleground states conducted by OnMessage Public Strategies and commissioned by the Article III Project shows former President Donald Trump holding an edge over Vice President Kamala Harris in almost all swing states, while CNN and MSNBC face declining trust among key voting demographics.

The survey, conducted between September 24 and October 2, 2024, sampled 500 likely voters in each of the states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Despite intense lawfare and a barrage of biased media coverage, Trump leads Harris in Arizona (47%-45%), Georgia (47%-44%), Nevada (47%-45%), and Wisconsin (47%-46%), and is tied in Pennsylvania (46%-46%). The full results of the poll and analysis of its findings can be found HERE.

The poll also found that leftwing CNN and MSNBC face credibility issues with the American public. CNN holds a net negative rating of -9, with 48% of respondents viewing the network unfavorably, compared to only 39% who view it favorably. MSNBC’s ratings also show a net negative of -4, with 44% holding an unfavorable view and 40% expressing a favorable opinion. Among independents, CNN and MSNBC both register net negative images of -10 and -9, respectively. Even college-educated voters, typically more liberal, show only lukewarm support for these networks, with CNN holding a net -3 image and MSNBC barely scraping a +2 margin.

“This new survey demonstrates President Trump has skillfully navigated the unprecedented lawfare and biased media coverage aimed at him. These leftwing tactics are backfiring. Trust in mainstream media is waning, with confidence in far-left networks like CNN and MSNBC at a record low, even among independent voters. This is an indictment that the coordinated campaign to destroy President Trump is failing spectacularly,” said Mike Davis, founder and president of the Article III Project.

The Article III Project (A3P) was founded by veteran GOP operative and attorney Mike Davis, who, after helping win the Senate confirmation battles of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, developed the reputation as a “take-no-prisoners conservative eager to challenge the left with hardball tactics,” as reported in The New York Times.

A3P defends constitutionalist judges, punches back on radical assaults on judicial independence (like court-packing) and opposes judicial and other nominees who are outside of the mainstream. Davis previously served as Chief Counsel for Nominations to Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary and led the Senate confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a record number of circuit court judges.
